Buongiorno, Italy!

What a whirlwind of a day! The KES crew packed up their bags, jumped into the bus, and headed to the airport with great enthusiasm. Thanks to Paul who got our lively group to the tarmac!

Upon our arrival, we quickly learned that parts of our route were struggling with bad weather. Although there seemed to be delayed or cancelled flights around us, we were "on time" and ready to go! Even though there were some bumps here and there, we were able to reach our final destination (Milan!) with a total of 10 hours of air time. It was an incredibly exhausting day, but everyone made sure to see the beautiful views that cascaded below as we passed through Montreal, Frankfurt, and Milan!

We were happily greeted by our EF tour director, Claudio, who showed us to our comfy coach bus and taught us a few Italian phrases. Verona was our first stop, and the scenery along the way did not disappoint! We had a brief tour through the city where we were then allowed some time to explore the people, place, and food of this historical town in small groups. Check out below some of the sites below!

We have a very tired group of KES students (and chaperones!) who are ready to hit the pit. We are excited as we head to Venice tomorrow morning! Lots to see and experience as we start to explore more of the beautiful Italian culture that surrounds us 😊

Ciao for now!
